Slow Doesn't Mean Stuck

It’s easy to believe that if we aren’t moving quickly, we aren’t getting anywhere.

We look at where we thought we would be by now and wonder why things are taking so long. We compare our progress to other people and question whether we’re falling behind.

But life doesn’t move at the same pace for everyone.

Some seasons are meant for moving forward quickly. Others are quieter. Slower. Full of small steps that may not seem important at the time.

But slow movement is still movement.

You may be learning something before you’re ready for the next step. You may be healing, growing, or gathering the strength you need to continue. Even when it feels like very little is happening, that doesn’t mean nothing is changing.

Growth doesn’t always happen on a schedule.

You don’t have to rush your journey just because someone else appears to be moving faster.

A life doesn’t have to move quickly or loudly to be meaningful.

Take the next step when you’re ready.

Then take another.

You may be moving more slowly than you hoped, but that doesn’t mean you’re stuck.

You are still moving forward.

Today’s Reminder:

I don’t have to rush my journey. Slow progress is still progress, and every step forward counts.
